Free Coupons Online

One of the things that I absolutely love about the Internet is that there is a multitude of free coupons available online.  Instead of waiting to get some random ones in the mail, I can actually go online and find coupons for the store that I want and take advantage of the many deals that are currently available.

The way that I find out about these great deals is through a handy IE coupon toolbar that I installed in my web browser.  It gives me the convenience to search for any available coupons that are available whenever I feel like it.

Just last week, I was able to take advantage of some oil change coupons and get a great price.  If you are a bargain shopper like myself, you should take advantage of all the discounted offers that are available online.

Bidding on Lots of Cufflinks

I have been selling a lot of items on online auction sites for number of years now and I’ve sold many things throughout that time.  My online sales have become so successful that of had to hire a couple of staff members to help me pack and ship all of the items that we sell.

But in order to sell items, you need inventory to sell and I’ve been spending a lot of time looking into new opportunities to make a profit online.  Recently, I’ve gone to a number of “real world” auctions where I have been able to bid on pallets of merchandise at a deep discount.

Where most people would bid on pallets of clothing or other common types of merchandise, lately I’ve been buying a lot of designer cufflinks.  Not only do you end up with a ridiculous quantity of products sell, you can easily earn ten times your investment quite easily.

There is an auction coming up that will have pallets of engravable cufflinks and wedding cufflinks that I will try to attend and it will be interesting to see if they sell as well online as the designer ones that I am selling already.

Simple Tasks I did Today

I recently took a job doing small, on-demand tasks for many organizations.  In some respects, we are just an outsourcing farm - we take orders from around the world.

Many of these tasks are short and don’t require a lot of time to complete and it makes the job into something new everyday.  This variety makes the job fun to go to and I rarely if ever get bored.

For example. today I was to find different roofing companies in the area and categorize them.  This meant that I did a number of searched to find all of the answers and it took some time to get things together.

I categorized the results that I found into three categories: roofing Pawtucket RI, commercial roofing Pawtucket RI, and flat roofing Pawtucket ri.  It took most of the day, and I can’t wait to see what is my task for tomorrow.

Working As a Debt Counselor

When I entered college, I wanted to get a career that I would be able to help others out and help them have a better standard of life.  I could’ve chose many different careers such as being a doctor, a scientist, or a researcher.  As it turned out, none of these career paths really interested me and in the end I decided to become a debt counselor.

I figured that this would be a good choice of careers since everyone has and uses money and debt will be an issue for many people.  I also like the fact that the job put me in a position where I could give people options instead of them just having to go bankrupt.

Right now I’m mainly deal with helping people through providing poor credit debt consolidation loans and teaching them how to implement debt diet plans.  This is just one aspect of my job and in this instance I am more of a solutions provider to them.

I also work in a teaching capacity as a teacher class on how to reduce credit card debt.  This is one of the most rewarding parts of my job is when you see the sparkle in the eye of your students when they understand what you are talking about and realizing at that point that you are changing lives.

All I can say is that I love my job and the fact that I’m able to help many people with my talents and knowledge.

How I Ended up in Turkey

I would never have guessed that I would’ve taken a vacation in Turkey in my life.  But, a series of events occurred which resulted in finding myself writing this blog post from Icmeler Turkey.

You see, three weeks ago, I decided to go online to look for cheap holidays that would fit in my budget.  Honestly, I didn’t have a lot of money, but I really needed to get away from work and get a breath of fresh air.  It had been nearly 3 years since I last took a vacation and quite frankly I was burnt out.

While looking online, I found some cheap flights to Turkey that were much cheaper than any other destination in the world.  It had me intrigued, but honestly I didn’t know anyone that had ever gone there before.

After a bit more research, I learned of a nice beach resort, Icmeler, and it sounded perfect.  Not only can I spend my days on the beach, but I would also be able to experience life in another part of the world.  I booked tickets and reserved a room at a hotel that night.

So there you have it, that is exactly how I ended up in Turkey.  It has only been a couple of days, but it has been worth every penny.

Discounted Discovery

One would think that, because we live in Orlando, that we would have been to Disney World many times. The truth is, though, that we have never been yet. We decided, when we moved here that we were not going to go until our kids were old enough to enjoy the experience. This year, we decided that it was time to finally buy them the Disney park tickets that their friends have been getting for years.

It was great news when my husband found out that he could get Disney World Hopper tickets at a substantially discounted rate through his work. If we had known this, we might have decided to go earlier.

We were equally surprised when my husband’s boss directed him to the website in which he could order the discounted tickets. It said that we should click for more info and we found out that there were many things, besides theme park tickets that we were entitled to a discount for. It was a great discovery.

Planning Ahead Pays off When Traveling

One of the things I learned from my parents is that you should always plan ahead before you do anything.  I don’t plan ahead all the time, but when I do, things work out very well for me.

For example, when I was going to take a trip to Las Vegas, I made a point to find out if there were any Las Vegas hotel specials before I left.  I figured if I did that, I would be of the get a better rate than just walking into the door when I got there.

Most of the Las Vegas hotel promotions require a promo code which can be easily found online.  For example, if you would like to stay at the MGM Signature hotel, all you have to do is a search online for “MGM Signature hotel Las Vegas promo code.”  By performing such a search, you’ll find many sites that have the promo code that you’re looking for without ever having to leave your home.

Whenever I go on a trip that will require a hotel stay, I make sure to search for promo codes online and save myself a bucketful money.  Planning ahead sure pays off.

My Wife’s Peace of Mind

When I started working out of town, my wife told me that I needed to get a cell phone. She was worried about me being on the road all the time and I couldn’t say that I blamed her. We went out one Saturday to look at phones and see what we should get. I knew that I wanted a secure gsm, but beyond that, I did not know much about what kinds of phones were currently on the market.

I have heard horror stories about people who have had problems with cell phone interception and it was one of the first things I asked about when we were looking and deciding who to sign a contract with. I was assured that it wouldn’t be a problem.

They told me that if I used the encryption software properly than it would never be an issue. Once I was assured that it was safe, I signed the contract and I know my wife will sleep better knowing that I am just a phone call away.

Appreciation for the Busby SEO Challenge

When you look at any competition, chances are that there is someone or a company standing behind the event.  Like anything else, you need a sponsor to pay the bills and to make the event a reality.

So it comes as no surprise that there would be a corporate sponsor that would be behind an SEO contest.  This summer that company is Busby Web Solutions - a company that specializes in providing online services to help businesses succeed online.

They have organized the Busby SEO Chalenge, which is an online competition that runs until August 31 at noon.  The competition is free to join, and competitors have a chance to win the $5,000 grand prize.

All they have to do is rank in the top three results on Google for the term "Busby SEO Challenge" - that’s it.

But, it wouldn’t be possible if not for the generous offering that Busby has made in terms of prizes.  Without them, this contest would not exist.

Getting Rid of my Glasses

Ever since I was eight years old, I have had to wear glasses.  I suppose I was doomed from the start since both my parents wear them, but I had always hoped that I would never need them.

Needless to say, twenty years later, I still hate them.  I feel that they not only impact the way others see me, but has impacted my ability to advance in the workplace.

So, I have been seriously considering LASIK eye surgery for some time now, but it hasn’t been until the last couple of months that I actually have had enough money to do it.  So, I decided that the cost of LASIK was no longer an issue - but I wasn’t sure that I was okay with the risks.

Instead of being worried about it, I decided to make a LASIK Pros and Cons list so that I would be able to visualize my choices.  After putting it together, I realized that it made more sense to do it than not go through with the procedure.

I will finally be able to get rid of my glasses once and for all.
