I never quite realized how much my parents paid for everything until I moved out of their house.  Sure, at the time I was mad with them about not helping me understand the auto insurance quote I had, so I made a rash decision and decided it was time to leave home.

What I had failed to realize at that point was how much money they spent on things that I had no idea about.  Utilities, phone, Internet, rent, and groceries sure cost a lot more if it is you paying for them.  I did have a little annuity that supplemented my work income, but I was barely scraping by - and I needed to figure out a way to cut down my bills fast.

I went online at the time to compare insurance quotes to see if I could maybe save some money on my car insurance - even a little savings would make a big difference.

Lucky for me, I found a company that saved me a few dollars and gave me a breather.  I never quite realized how lucky I was living at home - but I guess, I will never be going back there again.  That is the price you pay for growing up.

Last summer, I had a job at a music store. It was not a music store that sold all of the latest CD’s, but rather a music store that sold musical instruments and sheet music. I really enjoyed the job and decided that I was also going to learn to play a musical instrument that summer.

I chose a really good course by Will Barrow and learn master piano. Well, I did not learn to master the piano over the summer, but I learned a lot more than I ever thought possible in three short months. This course is amazing and I would say that I will master the piano at some point in my life. Especially if I keep up with this particular course.

I am hoping to get on with the store again this summer and am hoping to have time to take my learning seriously once again. I am also hoping to be able to play piano in my cousin’s wedding in August. I guess I will have to wait and see.

While I was doing a search on my favorite basketball team on the Internet, the other day, I came across a pair of really cheap NBA tickets. It was not a game that I was planning on attending, but at that price, I could not turn it down. I bought the tickets and called my buddy to see if he was available to go to the game with me.

He was available and he nearly fainted when I told him how much the tickets had cost. We both buy NBA tickets very often and had never gotten such a good deal on tickets before, as I had gotten on these ones. It actually turned out to be a really good game, too, and I am glad that we were there to see it.

I know that, for sure, I am always going to look for NBA tickets on the Internet before I go to the stadium to buy them from now on. I am hoping to find some more really great deals. It would be so wonderful if I could find enough deals that I could manage to go to every single home game that they have this year.

I was looking for a website where I can get wholesale jewelry, so that I can start my own small business. I have checked into all of the local jewelry stores around where I live and none of them can offer me the pricing that I need in order to make a profit myself. That is when I had the idea to go and take a look at what is available online.

One thing that I know I want to carry is JoJo watches. These are really big sellers right now and practically everyone that I know has one. I know that I could make a good profit off of these if I could get them at a good enough price. I suppose that is true of any type of merchandise that anyone wants to sell. I am still in search of finding the perfect wholesale company.

I really would like to carry a whole selection of hip hop jewelry. It would be such a huge seller around here and I know that I could make some pretty good sales at some of the local clubs. I am not expecting to make a living out of it, but I could make some extra money by venturing into this. It would also be a great learning experience.

I own a online flower shop that delivers flowers all over the world.  Most of out business is concentrated in the United States and Europe, with a sprinkling of orders from around the world.

But, we had an unusual order in my email box today.  You see, someone wanted us to send flowers to Romania for a funeral.  Usually this wouldn’t be a problem, but this was one country where it might be a problem for us.

You see, we had a flower store in Romania that we did a lot of business with.  They were very reliable, and we gave them all our business.  But last year, the flower shop there burned to the ground and they didn’t rebuild.

So, it looks like I will have to call around out there to see if I can find someone to fulfill my order - I just hope that I can make it happen on time.

Most people grow up taking some sort of music lessons.  Whether it be piano, organ, or some other instrument, most families focus on the artsy side of life.

But when I was growing up, I knew I was different.  You see, my father was an avid golfer, and each summer he would send me away to Golf school so that I could better my game.  There, I would get golf instruction from teachers that would eventually be my mentors.  From them, I learned the ins and outs of the game.

Though I have competed in many tournaments and play at least five times per week, I realize I still have room to grow.  That is why I am going to the Arizona Golf School twice over the next year to polish my already, almost perfect game.

Even though I was different than the other children, I am happy my parents chose golf for me - it is the love of my life.

I have a friend that specializes in wedding photography.  She is a big camera nut and has been doing weddings for many years.  I have seen some of her work, and it is really quite amazing.

One of her biggest challenges as a business woman is that there are more wedding photographers in town now than there were just a couple of years ago.  It has meant that she has a lot more competition now than before, and it has been hard for her to keep up.

But, she has found another untapped market to offer her services to: weddings abroad.  She now offers to go anywhere in the world and do the wedding photographs at a very reasonable rate.

She has had a couple of clients already, and is going to Mexico next week for one of them.  It has been good to watch her adapt to changing market conditions and still be able to do what she loves: photograph weddings.

For most of my life, I have just loved art - especially paintings.  I love how these images capture a scene at a moment in time.  Quite often I find myself lost in the paintings, with my mind endlessly daydreaming.

Since I never really had any sort of painting skills (or artistic talent), I ended up becoming a photographer instead.  Just because I couldn’t paint or draw, didn’t mean that I couldn’t find a way to express the artist in me.  It took a little practice, but I have become somewhat of a professional photographer.

In order to have the artwork created by myself, I have found a place that will put photos onto canvas.  The resulting canvases look like professional paintings that you can put on your wall.  I have about ten of them now on the walls in my home, and each time that look at them, I am reminded of being at the art gallery - one of my most favorite places to visit.

My children have been nagging me for a very long time to take them to the zoo.  Now, they want to go to a real zoo, not the local one that we have in town.  They are tired of the limited animals at the one we have in town - so I thought we could take them to see some real ones.

We have been planning to go to London, England for some time now, and I thought I might look up if they had a zoo.  Turns out they have a big one, with real animals (according to my kids), and we will be able to have time to check it out while we are there.

From what I read on the zoo forums, we will be there during busy season and may have difficulties getting in.  So, I ordered some London Zoo tickets online and they will be shipped to me before we go on the trip.

I can’t wait to see the looks on my children’s faces when they get to see some “real” animals - it is that part of being a parent I enjoy the most.

I recently deleted a lot of information on my computer - and when I say a lot, I mean pretty much everything.  I was a little amazed that the thing was still able to start, but it still seems to be kicking.

I went to the local computer store on a quest to find some computer data recovery software to get everything back.  I don’t think the clerk understood my request, but we ended up looking at digital photo recovery software instead.

He left me at the software that I didn’t need to help another customer.  So, I wandered around to find what I was looking for - that is when I saw Recovery My Files sitting on a shelf.  I read the box and it was the software that I had been looking for.

So, I am about to try it out - hopefully it will work as well as the box says it does.
