In most laptops  you can withdraw the keyboard using the following trio steps.

STEP 1.

Remove the power button bar also known as a hinge cover. This is the plastic trip piece that houses the power button switch, and other multimedia buttons.

STEP 2.

Remove  the keyboard from the laptop base. The screws are usually located underneath the keyboard or directly on top.  After removing the keyboard bezel you should be able to see them.

STEP 3.

Disconnect the keyboard cable or connector from the system board and take out the keyboard.

1. A commonly seen one is when you press the U, I, O, J, K, L, M keys, the keyboard alternatively types 4, 5, 6, 1, 2, 3, 0.  This happens because the “Number Lock” function is enabled. 3. When you press on a key it types two letters. For example, you press on A but it types AF, you press on Z and it types ZR.  This problem is likely related to the keyboard and will need to be replaced.
